About our Speakers
Shivan Perera, Business Development Officer, joined AVANA Capital in 2016 after obtaining his MBA in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU. He specializes in CRE lending, risk management, and marketing to the commercial real estate community. He provides tailored SBA, Bridge and Conventional lending solutions to clients and conducts credit and financial analysis on CRE ventures. Shivan has served in various functions within commercial banking, serving both small business and middle market, and has consulted in growth strategy for domestic and international SMEs. He leverages management experience from non-profit and financial sectors and has served as a consultant for multiple successful tech start-ups. Shivan has a passion and expertise in entrepreneurship and commercial real estate.
Arash Kouhi, Business Development Officer, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., has 18 years of financial industry experience supporting customers’ needs for acquisition, expansion and growth using capital. Helping business owners is a top priority and passion for Arash, who relocating from San Diego to Arizona in 2016 to help Wells Fargo expand its presence in the state. He has also served as sales representative and regional manager at various institutions.
