Closing out the third quarter of 2019, 7 self-storage transactions were recorded in Maricopa County. The sales featured 2 RV/Boat storage facilities and 1 Certificate of Occupancy sale, which brings the year-to-date total sales to 18 at an average per square foot price of $116.78 and unit price of $12,984.
There were 11 new facility openings in the third quarter in Maricopa County. That increases the year-to-date total to 24, with an additional 31 under construction. Both of these figures are above the same YTD counts in 2018, when they totaled 16 and 27 respectively.
